Ma Bell has announced some slight changes to pricing for its various data plans. Beginning next week, it will offer more data and subsequently a slightly higher cost for both smartphones and tablets. Here are the new plans:
Smartphone plans
- AT&T Data Plus 300MB: $20 for 300MB
- AT&T Data Pro 3GB: $30 for 3GB
- AT&T Data Pro 5GB: $50 for 5GB, with mobile hotspot / tethering

AT&T Introduces Changes To Its Data Plans Beginning January 22nd
Ma Bell has announced some slight changes to pricing for its various data plans. Beginning next week, it will offer more data and subsequently a slightly higher cost for both smartphones and tablets. Here are the new plans:
Smartphone plans
- AT&T Data Plus 300MB: $20 for 300MB
- AT&T Data Pro 3GB: $30 for 3GB
- AT&T Data Pro 5GB: $50 for 5GB, with mobile hotspot / tethering
Tablet plans
- AT&T DataConnect 3GB: $30 for 3GB
- AT&T DataConnect 5GB: $50 for 5GB
Naturally additional data is available to users, though will have to pay $10 per additional gigabyte on the AT&T Data Pro 3GB and Data Pro 5GB plans. If you’re an AT&T Data Plus user, you can add an extra 300MB for $20. Of course if you are an existing customer and especially have that coveted Unlimited data plan still, this does not apply to you and you’re free to stick with your current plan.
