Samsung Galaxy Note All Set For AT&T 4G LTE

For those of you who have been watering at the mouth over Samsung’s Galaxy Note (SGH-I717), we bring good tidings.  As most already know, it’s headed to AT&T and will fully support the carrier’s 4G LTE bands.  The device will still sport the whopping 5.3-inch display with 1280 x 800 res and much like the Galaxy S II for T-Mobile, will house Qualcomm’s dual-core 1.5 GHz MSM8660 chip instead of Sammy’s popular and high-end performing Exynos.  Most likely it’s there for the same reason T-Mo had to use it, band compatibility.  While that’s certainly a bummer, it’s still nice to see the device hit the states.  The handset should come with Gingerbread 2.3.x on board as we’ve heard nothing in the pipeline for the device being upgraded to Android 4.0 ICS anytime soon.  Keep your fingers crossed though.  As expected, it’s more than likely we’ll be able to check the device out next month at CES.  Don’t forget to check out all of the screen shots of this monster thanks to our friends over at Pocket Now.
